We are bringing back our tradition of staging Fireworks on Victoria Day weekend. The 2014 Fireworks show will take place on Sunday, May 18 at Mooney’s Bay Park. We expect to have a fire truck visit for the kids from 7-8pm followed by a welcome ceremony at 8:00 pm at the Beach House. The new Beach House Bistro restaurant won’t be officially open yet but the proprietor will have food and non-alcoholic beverages for sale that evening.
We are expecting Mayor Jim Watson and Councillor Maria McRae will come to say a few words and see the fireworks.

This is a Community event. Entry is free. There will be a limited amount of on-site parking for $5 per car.
The fireworks start at dusk, rain or shine (about 9:15 – 9:30). Bring the family, lawn chairs and a blanket!
We are expecting that our traditional Victoria Day Weekend Fireworks will again become an annual event, but it is expensive and takes a lot of work. Next year we hope to add lots of additional attractions. We are looking for volunteers and sponsors willing to help out (Contact: David Hutchinson <president@riversidepark.ca>)
