October 9, 2022: Happy Thanksgiving from Riverside Park Community Garden
We are planning our 2023 programs now, building our networks of volunteers, plot gardeners, land use areas, vendor sponsors, street beautification areas amongst the pavements, get involved, contact us directly at garden@riversidepark.ca Sarah, Marigane and Katerina coordinate and lead the committee.

Mooney’s Bay Community Garden
The Mooney’s Bay Community Garden was launched in summer 2020. It is located at the Riverside Mall (733 Ridgewood Ave, Ottawa, ON K1V 6N1) and managed by volunteers from the community.
This garden is made possible through the generous support of River Ward Councillor Riley Brockington and Brigil Construction.
Garden plots are available to local residents. Two beds are devoted to produce for donation to the local food supply.

Planters along Walkley Road
Summer 2022 brought some colour to Walkley Road. The City of Ottawa gifted 6 planters to the community; 3 on each side of the CN bridge between Springland and McCarthy.
Volunteers filled it with beautiful flowers generously donated by neighbours and RPCA contributions.
