Friday, May 5th Aztlan’s Cinco de Mayo celebration

Dear Dave and Riverside Park,
It is with great pleasure that I write to invite you and RPCA members to Aztlan’s Cinco de mayo
celebration!
This admission free event will take place on Friday, May 5th starting at 6PM at Gatineau City Hall
Maison du Citoyen” located in 25 Laurier St, Gatineau, Quebec. A convenient location right across the
bridges from downtown Ottawa with free underground parking for the event.
The event is presented thanks to the support and collaboration of the “Ville de Gatineau”.
Get ready to be amazed with a special performance that our internationally renowned Ballet Folklórico
and Mariachi Aztlán have prepared for this evening.

Yet another rendition of our high-quality artistic Mexican folklore performances that have been
celebrated for over 20 years in Canada and around the globe. Performances proudly led our group to
earn as of last year a certification by CIOFF which is an Official Partner of UNESCO, accredited to the
UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Committee, with the duty of safeguarding, promotion and diffusion
of traditional culture and folklore.
For this Cinco de mayo celebration we will be featuring the Mexican states of Yucatán, Aguascalientes
and Jalisco.
And you will have the chance to purchase authentic Mexican food, delicious street tacos, and margaritas.
As well as enjoy family activities and traditional Mexican games that we will have for our guests.
I would be extremely grateful if you could R.S.V.P by no later than Wednesday May 3rd to
info@balletaztlan.com or (819) 319-4458.
I hope you are able to accept this invitation and I look forward to hearing from you.
