Sign your kids up for a FREE Halloween treat bag!

For the second year in a row, the Riverside Park Community Association is hosting a SAFE and FREE Halloween Treat Bag Giveaway!

No donation is required!

Simply sign up your children and our volunteers will deliver nut-free and safely-assembled treat bags to your door for a morning surprise on Halloween Day.

The deadline for registrations is 7:00 pm on October 29 – so tell your neighbours and help spread the word. This awesome event is only available to residents of Riverside Park!

All deliveries will be contactless. Bags will be left on your door handle or door step between 7:00 and 10:00 pm on Saturday, October 30 and we will give a gentle knock as we leave.

Online Costume Parade

Post photos of your costumes to our neighbourhood online Facebook gallery. This is a safe way to scroll through the community to look for familiar friends and to see all the fun and creative costumes our neighbourhood has to offer.

Live Spooky Story Reading

Crowd around a campfire or in your living room to listen to a dramatic reading of a spooky story about Riverside Park, written and told by local author, Travis Croken.
Stay tuned for livecast details!

PUMPKIN ALLEY

On Monday, November 1, residents are invited to place their jack-o-lanterns on the curb anywhere along Mooney’s Bay Place, where they will be on display throughout the day.

All jack-o-lanterns will be donated by the Ottawa South Eco Action Network (OSEAN) to a local pig-farm as a special treat to our cloven-hooved friends. All in-tact pumpkins will be donated to Food for Thought Cafe to provide meals to local families.
